Dr. Flavia Andrade (PhD., University of Wisconsin) teaches the core graduate course in biostatistics. She also teaches Health Statistics and has taught Research Methods.

Dr. Andrade's primary research interest focuses on the determinants of population health, particularly in Latin America and in the Caribbean and among Latinos in the U.S. She is currently working on studies that focus on obesity, diabetes and their health consequences.
